Job Description
What will you do & How will you do it
Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing developing and overseeing electrical systems and projects. This role involves leading engineering teams ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and providing technical expertise for complex projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement electrical systems and components for various projects.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Prepare technical drawings specifications and documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies cost estimates and risk assessments.
- Oversee installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines project managers and clients.
- Review and approve engineering calculations reports and proposals.
- Manage project schedules budgets and resources.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices.
What we look for
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred).
- 7 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on project leadership.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD ETAP Revit).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g. IEC NEC DEWA SEWAFEWA).
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
