Job Title: Finance Manager (Electric Contracting and Infrastructure Industry)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and lead our finance and accounting operations. The candidate must have strong expertise in the electric contracting and infrastructure industry with a proven track record in financial management project-based P&L and supplier credit relations. The Finance Manager will manage the accounting team ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide strategic support to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting team ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee computerized accounting systems with mandatory experience in Zoho.
- Prepare budgets forecasts and cash flow reports to support business planning.
- Handle monthly and yearly P&L accounts and balance sheets particularly for project-based financials.
- Ensure compliance with VAT calculations filing and reporting requirements.
- Manage letters of credit bank guarantees and supplier credit facilities.
- Strengthen and maintain strong relations with suppliers and financial institutions.
- Supervise accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
- Participate in administrative and financial decision-making supporting senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance (Masters or professional certification is an advantage).
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience including at least 5 years in the UAE within an electric contracting company.
- Strong background in infrastructure and electric construction projects.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Excellent command of Zoho systems
- Solid understanding of project-based P&L and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations in the UAE.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
