Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector - Site to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of construction projects through on-site inspections and evaluations.

Conduct thorough on-site inspections of structural elements in buildings projects
Verify compliance with local building codes regulations and approved plans
Identify structural defects safety hazards and non-compliant work
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to address structural issues
Review and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications
Utilize inspection equipment and tools to assess structural integrity
Provide recommendations for corrective actions when necessary
Stay updated on local building codes and industry best practices
Participate in project meetings and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or related field with 3 years minimum consultancy experience.
In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations particularly in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
Proficiency in structural inspection techniques and methodologies
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Extensive knowledge of construction materials and methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using inspection equipment and tools
Computer skills for report writing and data management
Understanding of structural engineering principles and practices
Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations in Abu Dhabi
