Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Site Engineer you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects from inception to completion.
- Assist in the preparation and review of construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project milestones are met
- Maintain accurate records of site activities including daily logs and progress reports
- Participate in site meetings and communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local building codes safety regulations and quality standards
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Support the team in resolving on-site technical issues and challenges
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project schedules and budgets
- Assist in quantity surveying and cost estimation tasks
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in the construction or engineering field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
- Solid understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
- Familiarity with site surveying techniques
- Engineering Intern (EI) certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions
- Valid UAE drivers license or ability to obtain one
