The Spa Receptionist in a luxury hotel you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the spa providing them with a warm and professional welcome. Your role is to deliver exceptional service by managing bookings addressing inquiries and ensuring a seamless spa experience. With an eye for detail and a passion for wellness you will create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere reflecting the high standards of our luxury hotel

What will I be doing

As a Spa Receptionist you are responsible for greeting and assisting clients to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Greet all guests with a warm and professional manner embodying the hotels luxury standards of service.

• Assist guests with checkin and checkout procedures for spa treatments and services.
• Provide detailed information about spa offerings promotions and membership packages.
• Address guest inquiries and accommodate special requests with efficiency and discretion.
• Manage spa appointments using the booking system ensuring optimal scheduling to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
• Confirm and follow up on appointments to reduce cancellations or noshows.
• Coordinate with spa therapists to ensure seamless scheduling and guest preparation.
• Handle billing processes including cash credit card and room charge transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate guest records and service histories in the system.
• Assist in inventory management of retail products and replenish stock as needed.
• Ensure the reception area and lounge are clean organized and stocked with amenities.
• Handle guest feedback and escalate issues to the Director of Spa/SPA Supervisor when necessary.
• Report accidents maintenance issues or other incidents
• Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Using the appropriate telephone techniques and manner.

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury spa hotel or wellness environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a busy reception environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in booking/reservation software and basic computer skills.
• Professional wellgroomed appearance in line with the hotels standards.
• A warm and approachable personality with a passion for guest service.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling guest information.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in hospitality or spa management is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
