Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Storekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the transportation industry and a strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the logistics field.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Receive inspect and store incoming materials and products
- - Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient
- - Prepare and pack orders for delivery to customers
- - Coordinate with the transportation team to ensure timely delivery of goods
- - Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
- - Keep the warehouse clean and organized to facilitate efficient operations
- - Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- - Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- - Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to the Store Manager
Qualifications:
- - High School Diploma or equivalent
- - Minimum of 2 year of experience in a similar role preferably in the transportation industry and construction
- - Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
- - Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
- - Excellent communication and organizational skills
- - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- - Valid UAE drivers license is a plus
