Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to oversee and manage large-scale construction and oil & gas projects in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning execution and completion within defined timelines budget and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage end-to-end construction project activities from planning to handover.
Develop project execution strategies schedules and resource allocation plans to meet client and company objectives.
Ensure adherence to safety quality and environmental standards as per industry and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project budgets costs and timelines implementing corrective measures to avoid overruns.
Lead and manage project teams contractors and subcontractors ensuring effective coordination and communication.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work progress compliance and quality control.
Prepare and present project progress reports risk assessments and status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to maintain project momentum.
Liaise with clients consultants vendors and government authorities to ensure all project requirements are met.
Ensure documentation permits and approvals are completed as per UAE standards and project specifications.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Post-Graduation in Construction Management (desirable).
PMP Certification (preferred).
UAE Equivalency Certificate (advantage).
ADM Engineer s Card & Society of Engineers (SOE) membership (preferred).
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies project management principles and industry standards.
Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6 MS Project).
Strong understanding of HSE (Health Safety & Environment) regulations in the Middle East.
Budget management and cost control expertise.
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
