Job Description

Asset Administrator (Accounting background) is responsible for maintaining accurate records of the organization s assets ensuring proper documentation tracking and reporting. This role supports effective asset management by coordinating asset registration updates and disposals and assisting with audits and compliance activities.

Core Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the asset register with accurate information on acquisitions transfers disposals and maintenance.
Assist in tracking the lifecycle of assets from procurement to disposal.
Coordinate with departments to ensure timely recording and reporting of asset movements.
Support asset audits and inspections to verify physical assets against records.
Prepare reports on asset status depreciation and valuation for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding asset management.
Assist in coordinating asset procurement and disposal documentation related to warranties service agreements and insurance.
Support inventory management activities to prevent asset loss or misplacement.
Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate financial recording of assets.
