Job Description
We are recruiting a Draftsman MEP for our client a leading building materials company in Abu Dhabi UAE.
About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established wholesale supplier of building materials based in Abu Dhabi serving contractors developers and construction companies across the UAE. They offer a wide range of high-quality products that meet the demands of residential commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed Revit models and drawings for MEP systems (HVAC plumbing electrical fire protection) and interior fit-outs (partitions ceilings finishes and furniture)
- Generate shop drawings as-built drawings and coordination drawings in compliance with project standards
- Convert hand sketches markups or CAD files into accurate BIM models
- Ensure all models adhere to the BIM execution plan
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors to refine ductwork layouts piping schematics lighting plans and electrical systems
- Produce fit-out drawings including material schedules joinery details and reflected ceiling plans
Requirements
- Experience in drafting ductwork piping electrical layouts fire protection systems and lighting plans
- Ability to produce shop drawings as-built drawings and coordination drawings for fit-out projects (e.g. ceilings partitions and finishes)
- Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) and interior fit-out drawings
- Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling)
