Job Description
We are looking for a technically strong Associate Landscape Architect to join our growing team and help lead the delivery of complex landscape architecture projects across the region. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in managing design teams developing robust technical solutions and ensuring quality and consistency from concept through to construction. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between design vision and built reality working closely with clients consultants and internal teams to deliver award-winning landscape environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development and delivery of complex landscape architecture projects across all design stages with a focus on detail design and construction documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest technical standards.
- Oversee the preparation of drawings and specifications and tender documentation with a strong understanding of regional practices.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (urban design architecture engineering) and external consultants to ensure design integration and technical coherence.
- Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level landscape architects providing guidance on technical detailing documentation standards and best practices.
- Review and approve work produced by the team to ensure quality control and alignment with project requirements and office standards.
- Provide training and support in software tools material use and detailing strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders on technical matters.
- Participate in client meetings design reviews and site visits to provide technical expertise and resolve design or construction issues.
- Support the preparation of technical reports design narratives and presentations.
- Assist senior leadership in project proposals fee development and resource planning as needed.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the landscape team by identifying technical gaps and opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in either Architecture or Landscape if the former candidates should ideally hold an MSc in Landscape
12 years experience within Landscape Architecture
