Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our procurement department you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process from sourcing to contract management ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
- Analyze market trends pricing and economic factors to forecast and plan future purchases
- Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needs
- Monitor and track order status delivery schedules and inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with company policies UAE regulations and international trade laws
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and implement improvement measures
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in international sourcing and vendor management
- Knowledge of procurement best practices supply chain management principles and UAE business regulations
- Professional certification (e.g. CPSM CPM) preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Familiarity with contract management and cost analysis techniques
