Researcher/Analyst (Real Estate Southeast Asian Property)

Job Summary
Our client a master Real-Estate developer based in South East Asia is looking for a meticulous Real Estate Researcher/Analyst to join their pioneering team in Dubai. This role is the knowledge backbone of the sales operation responsible for generating the data and analysis that drives strategy and empowers the sales team.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical professional with a passion for real estate and investment dynamics. You will be the in-house subject matter expert on both the clients property market and the Middle Eastern investment landscape providing the critical intelligence that bridges the gap between our unique assets and sophisticated regional investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct continuous in-depth research on the Cambodian real estate market including economic indicators supply and demand trends competitor activity and rental yields. Monitor the Dubai/GCC investment climate tracking capital flows and investor sentiment.
- Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling: Develop detailed financial models cash flow projections and return analyses (IRR ROI Cap Rates) for the property portfolio. Prepare comprehensive investment memorandums and feasibility studies.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Create and present regular insightful reports white papers and market updates for the sales team senior management and potential clients. Transform complex data into clear compelling narratives and actionable insights.
- Sales Team Empowerment: Serve as the primary analytical resource for the sales team. Equip them with the data statistics and talking points required to build irrefutable investment cases for HNWIs family offices and institutional investors.
- Due Diligence Support: Provide analytical support during the due diligence process ensuring all data presented to clients is accurate verified and transparent.
- Database Management: Build and maintain a robust internal database of market statistics competitor information and client profiles using the company CRM and other data systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Required: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a real estate analysis market research investment advisory or property consulting role.
- Required: Strong quantitative analytical and financial modeling skills with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Required: Excellent research and report-writing skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear and concise analysis.
- Required: A demonstrable understanding of real estate investment principles and financial metrics.
- Required: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with exceptional communication skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity with data sources such as Bloomberg Real Capital Analytics and regional property data providers.
- Preferred: A Bachelors degree in Real Estate Finance Economics or a related field.
