A leading UAE-based Bank is seeking a dynamic results-oriented and client-focused Relationship Managers and Senior Relationship Managers (several open roles) specializing in Mortgage Products. Based in Dubai the successful candidate will be a key driver of the banks mortgage lending business responsible for cultivating a robust client portfolio and guiding customers through the entire home financing journey.
This role requires a deep understanding of the UAEs real estate market and mortgage landscape. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to build lasting relationships with clients real estate professionals and developers solidifying the banks position as a lender of choice in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Sales: Proactively source and develop new mortgage business by building and maintaining a strong network of referral sources including real estate agents property developers and internal bank channels.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients seeking mortgage financing. Provide expert tailored advice on the banks portfolio of mortgage products.
- Needs Analysis and Consultation: Conduct in-depth financial assessments to understand clients borrowing needs financial status and long-term goals. Structure and propose optimal mortgage solutions that align with their financial capacity and the banks credit policies.
- Application Management: Guide clients meticulously through the mortgage application process from initial inquiry to disbursement. This includes collecting and verifying all required documentation (e.g. salary certificates bank statements property details Sale and Purchase Agreements) and ensuring the file is complete for submission to the credit compliance and other involved teams of the bank.
- Financial and Market Analysis: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE real estate market trends interest rate movements and competitor offerings.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a healthy sales pipeline ensuring timely follow-up on leads applications and approvals to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for loan volume and value.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise effectively with internal teams including credit teams property evaluators legal and operations to ensure a smooth and efficient loan processing experience for the client.
- Compliance and Due Diligence: Uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance ensuring all activities adhere to the policies of the Central Bank of the UAE internal bank guidelines and Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven business development experience as a Relationship Manager or a Senior Relationship Manager in mortgage products within a UAE-based bank is essential.
- Track Record: Demonstrable and consistent track record of achieving and exceeding mortgage sales targets.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mortgage products processes and the end-to-end loan lifecycle in the UAE.
- Market Network: A pre-existing and active network of contacts with real estate brokers agents and developers in the United Arab Emirates is highly advantageous.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the Central Bank of the UAEs mortgage regulations and compliance requirements.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field.
- Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
