As part of Core42 Microsoft Cloud CoE Professional Services the Engineer is responsible for the implementation and configuration of Azure cloud services Microsoft Infrastructure services including Active Directory Exchange etc. and the Modern workplace including O365 services.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for diverse industry verticals
- Collaborate with stakeholders like project managers architects developers and sysadmins to ensure successful implementation of cloud services by understanding cloud architecture specifications.
- Develop and implement cloud migration strategies including assessing the feasibility and risks associated with transitioning applications and systems to the cloud.
- Evaluate and select appropriate Azure cloud technologies and platforms to meet the organizations needs and optimize performance.
- Configure deploy and manage cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability reliability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based and on-premises systems.
- Deliver HLD LLD and Migration plan as part of project engagements and deliverables.
- Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems identifying and resolving performance issues and implementing necessary improvements.
- Focus on adding hands-on technical expertise ensuring outcomes meet the highest technical and agile standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud architecture and implementation and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause-analysis
- Be the SME on Core42s Cloud Public Clouds Azure and related technologies for the project delivery team.
- Establish develop and manage long-term relationships based on trust and the ability to meet commitments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Implementation Engineer or in a similar role with a track record of successfully implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role with a track record of successfully implementing Microsoft solutions including Active Directory Exchange WSUS ADFS DNS DHCP etc
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Modern workplace solution or in a similar role with a track record of successfully implementing the Microsoft Modern workplace solutions including O365 Intune MS Defender
- Proficient in cloud architecture design principles including scalability availability and security.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools and the ability to assess the feasibility and risks associated with cloud adoption.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and Azure Devops.
- Familiarity with DR solutions and replication tools including Azure Site Recovery carbonite
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical
Requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator (Must)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Must) Microsoft Certified:
- DevOps Engineer Expert (preferred)
Qualifications:
- At least 5-7 years experience as a Azure Implementation Engineer role
- At least 5 years of experience in a Azure Cloud Engineer role or related position
- Understanding of cloud computing architecture technical design and
- implementations including IaaS PaaS and SaaS delivery models
- Experience in scripting like PowerShell Azure CLI and Python
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code including Terraform ARM Bicep
- Knowledge of security hardening and system performance tuning
