The Senior Cost Manager Procurement will oversee the entire procurement process from project inception to completion ensuring costeffective strategies compliance and longterm value. This role involves managing procurement documentation negotiating contracts and collaborating with project teams to maintain timelines budgets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bidder List Management and assistance of onboarding of New Contractors/Consultants:
- Coordinate the endtoend process of adding new contractors and consultants across all client projects including gathering documentation arranging site visits and preparing assessment reports for management approval.
- Assist in preparing list of recommended bidder for all packages coordinate with the tendering team status updates are tracked.
- Maintain an uptodate log of ongoing and completed bidder list activities for transparency and reporting.
- Liaise with the supplier management team to ensure timely registration and activation of newly added vendors.
- Assist management to apply effective vendor management practices supported by a strong network and understanding of the UAE contractor and consultant market.
- Initiate and support the procurement process by compiling and developing comprehensive tender documents for Prime Cost and Provisional Sum packages.
- Coordinate with the team to manage the full tender cycle including issuance addendums and posttender clarifications through the tendering Portal.
- Evaluate received tenders and assist management with detailed comparisons and followup investigations as required.
- Support management in organizing and conducting meetings with vendors for tender clarifications and negotiations.
- Oversee internal approval workflows and ensure a smooth and timely handover of all tenderrelated documents to relevant project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies procedures and project timeline.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is a must.
- UAE experience is a must.
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Procurement/Tendering /Quantity surveying.
- Relevant experience with largescale real estate developers/Consultant/Contractors in UAE.
- Experience of managing large projects valued over AED 500 million.
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
