Job Description
- Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Set up and clear dining areas in guest rooms ensuring cleanliness.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu including specials and dietary needs.
- Process guest payments and handle transactions (cash/credit card).
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Ensure proper setup of trays carts and room service equipment.
- Restock and replenish room service items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area.
- Assist with preparing condiments utensils and beverages for service.
- Ensure guests are satisfied and encourage feedback.
- Uphold hotel safety hygiene and food safety standards.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service (room service experience preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
- Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift trays and equipment (up to 25 pounds).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
