- Supervise the daytoday operations of the food and beverage outlets including restaurants bars room service and banquet facilities.
- Ensure highquality service delivery and customer satisfaction by monitoring and evaluating the performance of the staff and providing feedback and training as needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability such as upselling promotions and cost control measures.
- Oversee menu planning and pricing to ensure a diverse and appealing selection that meets the needs and preferences of the guests.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the food and beverage outlets ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient food and beverage service resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist in conducting inventory management ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels to meet the demands of the business.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner seeking to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience for guests.
- Train and mentor staff members providing ongoing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to promote the food and beverage outlets and drive business growth.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as local state and federal regulations related to food and beverage service.
- Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in service and uphold the hotels brand standards.
- Monitoring guest feedback and online reviews to identify areas for improvement and address customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular staff meetings to communicate updates review performance metrics and reinforce service expectations.
- Managing and reconciling cash handling procedures ensuring accuracy in cash payments and reporting discrepancies.
- Assisting in the recruitment and hiring of new staff members conducting interviews and facilitating training programs to onboard new employees.
- Staying updated on industry trends new products and customer preferences in the food and beverage sector to continually enhance offerings and remain competitive in the market.
Qualifications :
- An outgoing personality with love for people restaurants and creativity
- Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2years experience as F&B Supervisor preferably in 4/5star hotel
- Thorough knowledge of all F&B menu including ingredients methods of preparation and proper service.
- Baseline knowledge of wines and spirits
- Professional fluency in English (written verbal and spoken)
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence a wide variety of audiences/ stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
