09The Team: The EMEA Energy Transition Consulting Team is a trusted advisor of leading companies in thetraditional and new energy sectors investor and governments. Typical studies range fromenergy transition strategy assistance transaction due diligence emissions reduction roadmapdevelopment supply chain assessments and ESG/Energy policy advise.
The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of consultants and experts with wideranging backgrounds in energy and the energy transition. The varied and changing nature of ourprojects leads to development of a diverse set of skills and exposure to different industries andclients including senior industry leaders and policy makers.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Identify internal and external information sources gather and synthesize data
Efficiently analyze large quantities of data to produce insights using data analytics toolsor programming languages
Build and run analytical models as required for consulting projects (e.g. Excel Pythonothers)
Work on a project team with other consultants under the direction of the projectmanager
Participate in client or industry interviews and extract key takeaways
Participate in client meetings and contribute by presenting aspects of the analysis
Develop clientready deliverables in PowerPoint and/or Word and present findingsconcisely back to the team
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Three to six years of experience in industry consulting or finance environments inareas related to commercial analysis financial modeling research and benchmarkingM&A. Experience in the energy space including energy value chain emissions estimatesand management and environmental management is important.
Experience in management consulting will be a significant plus especially experiencebuilding client ready ppt excel and word documents and a strong quantitativebackground and analytical frame of mind and prepared to use data to back up opinions.
Minimum qualifications are BSc. in engineering preferably in chemical environmentalor process engineering. A postgraduate degree is a plus (including in financeeconomics or business).
Strong written and oral presentation skills in English (strong language skills in Arabic is aplus).
Ability to work well in a teamoriented environment providing ideas and open feedback.
