Amazon Ads seeks a Finance Manager to lead EMEA Ads Sales Finance. This role is the primary Finance partner to the General Manager of EMEA and sits on the EMEA Ads Leadership team.
A successful candidate will operate independently in a rapidly growing and evolving business. The ideal candidate will be as comfortable building and refining financial models as they are with challenging and refining business strategies.
Key job responsibilities
Own the short and longterm revenue forecasts for EMEA Ads
Partner closely with the EMEA Ads GM and EMEA Ads leadership team
Prepare weekly monthly and quarterly business reviews
Represent Amazon Ads EMEA to internal stakeholder teams across Ads Finance Stores Finance FP&A Legal Accounting and Tax teams
Optimize and prioritize investments based on a deep understanding of the EMEA Ads landscape across industry verticals agency partners and advertiser growth trajectory

This role will be the leader of EMEA Ads Sales Finance and will interact with a diverse group of stakeholders across locales functions and levels.
About the team
This role is part of an international and decentralized team supporting over 30 recently launched Ads business across Asia Europe North and South America and Australia.
5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
6 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
6 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisionmaking experience
6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process reengineering quality assurance) experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
