Supply Chain and Logistics Executive

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain executive to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves managing production planning demand management inventory planning raw material planning and import/export activities to ensure efficient and costeffective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely and accurate production.
• Monitor production performance and adjust plans as necessary to meet targets.

Demand Management:

• Collect and analyze input from sales teams to create accurate shipment forecasts.
• Translate sales forecasts into shipment forecasts.
• Enter demand into the demand module from OMP.
• Utilize SAP S/4HANA to enhance demand planning processes.

Inventory Planning:

• Develop inventory strategies to minimize costs while ensuring product availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement controls to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
• Optimize warehouse operations and logistics to improve efficiency.

Raw Material Planning and Direct Purchasing:

• Plan and manage raw material requirements to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
• Involve in direct purchasing activities to secure necessary materials at optimal costs.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.

Import and Export:

• Manage international logistics and compliance with import/export regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Handle documentation and customs clearance processes for international shipments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on production planning inventory planning raw material planning and import/export.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools including SAP S/4HANA and OMP.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
