Performance Engineer

Our client who is a global IT consulting firm is looking to hire a Performance Engineer.

Requirements

Ideal candidate for this role will have the following experience.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Engineering
• Experience in Performance testing, profiling and tuning for highly available and scalable mission critical application
• Experience working with Organizations/functions with a large suite of mission critical applications/solutions
• Demonstrable experience on HP Load Runner, HP Performance Centre and open source tools like jmeter, Gatling, Taurus. Should have worked on multiple protocols and across various technology stacks. Should have experience testing Web applications, Mobile applications, Services.
• Performance Engineering, profiling and tuning experience, including experience working with APM tools such App dynamics, DynaTrace, New Relic etc.
• Hands-on operational experience working with UNIX and Windows environments, and troubleshooting environment, OS or configuration related issues
• Experience using WebPageTest, GTmetrix, YSlow and other tools to asses Page Performance
• Sound knowledge of DevOps and how Continuous Performance Testing can be implemented using Load testing Tools, APM tools, code profilers etc.
• Ability to understand and analyse AWR reports
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design concepts, including latest trends in technology
• Experience working with large cloud service providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.) like Azure, AWS, GDP etc
