Job Description

Position : HSE OFFICER

Nationality : Indian

Gender : Male

Salary : Open

Location : Abu Dhabi

Description:

1.In depth knowledge of OSHAD (Procedure, mechanism, legislation)

2.Experience in writing report and policies for health and safety Environment

3.knowldge of potential hazardous material or practices.

Minimum Requirement

1.NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent Level 3 certification.

2.B. Sc/BA in safety management, Engineering or relevant field is preferred.

3.First Aid and firefighting training will be advantageous.

Experience & Skills:

1.Min 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing Industry /Construction.

2.Experienced in performing OSHAD, Environment, ISO 9001 & 14001 Auditing.

3.Hands on experience in doing risk assessment, incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Health and safety & Environment training records aremaintaining and update Periodically.

2. Provide adequate information, instruction, supervision, training and TBT to employees in matters related in HSE

3. All statutory regulation, CoP and safety rules & regulation are implemented and complied with at the workplace.

4. Daily Report any HSE Violations, follow up on implementation of control measures and corrective action to mitigate the risks and recommend disciplinary action.

5. Documentation for HSE, ISO Management system in line with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015.OSHAD Third party External Audit.

6. Review and approve method statements, risk assessment and emergency plans and conduct workplace specific risk assessment/job analysis.

7. Responsible for developing implementing and update evacuation plans, procedure and measure.

8. Concerning the implementation of safety management system in the workplace.

9. Conducting Regular safety checks and emergency issues discuss with Top management.

10. Performing periodic and random HSE inspection as per the required KPI for authority requirement.

11. Performing regular floor walks and documented checks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of staff/workers.

12. Ensure All employees are wearing PPE at the workplace

13. Coordinate and conduct monthly HSE committee at all responsible staff.

14. Document, maintain and update all HSE incident, Near miss and dangerous occurrence register

15. Coordinate with Production Manager/supervisor to ensure that compliance with regulatory requirement and instructions from regulatory authorities are met

16. To conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provision at workplace

17. The completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
