- A urologist is a medical doctor who diagnoses and treats various diseases found within the urinary tract and related parts of the male reproductive system.
- They provide checkups and basic appointments and also perform surgery to treat threatening medical issues.
Urologists can treat the following medical conditions:
- Kidney stones
- Prostate, kidney or bladder cancers
- Urinary tract infections
- Infertility
- Urethral stricture
