BMC Developer

Job Description :

• Experienced on Remedy Application development on the Remedy Version 7.x or 8.x or 9.x along with Hands on experience on administration.
• Should have worked on core remedy objects and work flows to develop the business logic.
• Should have worked strongly on customization of Remedy application or should have worked on any bspoke application developed using Remedy objects
• Good knowledge on Remedy Integrations with third part systems using webservices, API s or any other integrations methods.
• Should be having knowledge on BMC remedy ITSM Application. Good Linux shell scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
• SDLC process - Requirement gathering, analysis, design, estimation, Understanding of low-level design, development, preparation of unit test plan, unit test cases, unit testing, defect analysis, migration activities, test support, implementation and post Production support. Knowledge in Agile methodology.
• Good verbal written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Remedy Developer, he/she will take on a combination of the following responsibilities:
• Work effectively in a dynamic fast paced team environment.
• Align solutions within the overall IT strategy.
• Produce and participate in the technical design review process to ensure high quality technical designs.
• Ability to work in a technical lead role.
• Identify and deliver best practices, re-useable components and process optimization.
• Good understanding of ITSM SDLC process.
• Good understanding of ITSM design principles and services-oriented architecture
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues with non Remedy applications and databases.
• Being responsive to clients whilst following the principles and procedures of the quality management system
• Build strong working relationship with onshore/offshore team, customer and users.
• Good awareness of the customer s business and in-depth knowledge of the customer s environment and processes. Generate and submit reports/updates to management when needed.
• Follow training plans, requirements and schedules as outlined
• Must have a sense of ownership in handling project and technical issues and able to provide effective and timely resolution.
• Complete and keep up to date with all Mandatory trainings.
• Ensure following of processes and best practices

Skills

• Experience in BMC Remedy v7.x or above
• Working experience as Remedy developer or Action Request System Developer or Remedy workflow developer
• Remedy Certified profession (RCP) as an advantage
• Excellent knowledge working on Remedy custom application development administration
• Strong understanding of Remedy Implementation Methodology
• Hands-on experience in developing various Remedy activities, work flows, Webservices, API s, and shell scripting Very Good experience in Remedy integration with web services, API s, emails, Message Queues.
• Performance tuning, optimization and monitoring implementations
• Should have an experience working in Agile software development process
• Knowledge on Agile tools like GITHUB, JINKINS and ServiceNow

Requirements
