Job Description

  • Plans and sets the RBM calendar of the assigned Sports Business Units and ensures timely execution and implementation across the retail stores
  • Manages door plans of the assigned Sports Business Units ensuring alignment with the overall Marketing budget
  • Manages and plans annual as well as seasonal RBM campaigns for the assigned Sports Business Units’ stores and concepts
  • Manages alignment of the retail marketing team’s planning and execution with other business units (internal/external) to ensure consistent output across the region
  • Manages and monitors RBM activities expenditures in line with the set and approved budget
  • Manages relationship with all external stakeholders/agencies to ensure smooth execution of all RBM initiatives, and builds agency database to ensure availability of multiple options while evaluating agencies for various RBM activities
  • Takes ownership for research related to RBM (e.g. mystery shopping) and ensures that relevant insights are incorporated into future initiatives
  • Monitors coverage and effectiveness of RBM campaigns, while creating reporting and information tracking tools to assess relevant metrics
  • Participates in providing periodic reports to the senior management related to return of investments (ROI) of RBM campaigns to facilitate decision making processes
  • Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective implementation of the GMG’s performance management process
  • Develops talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching to achieve the defined goals
  • Drives a culture of feedback and coaching in the Business Unit/ Department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs and coaching the employees on the areas of improvement
