Staff Nurse - Emergency

Our client, a large medical facility, is currently looking for Staff Nurse in Emergency department, to based in Dubai. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for the smooth and efficient patient flow with the unit delegates assignments and provides supervision for the support staff to provide the quality of patient care and utmost patient satisfaction
• Performed a systematic initial and ongoing assessment of the patient’s physical and psycho social status, specific to the age of the patient.
• Assessed patient/family educational needs and readiness to learn utilizing appropriate resources.
• Assessed patient/family discharge planning needs utilizing appropriate resources.
• Assessment and placement of patients as a triage RN.
• Performs necessary nursing procedures such as IV cannulation, blood extraction, ECG, suctioning and other necessary emergency treatments.
• Evaluate patient care needs; prioritize treatment to maintain patient flow.
• Observe signs and symptoms, institutes remedial action when appropriate and records these in the chart and refer untoward signs and symptoms to the attending physicians.
• Perform initial assessment of the patient.
• Plans gives and evaluate nursing care.
• Admits and discharge patients.

Requirements

To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:

- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing

- With valid license from home country

- Eligible to work in Dubai; having DHA license

- At least 2 years of experience in a large hospital within Emergency Department

- Willing to work in Dubai

- Willing to work for 48 hours in one week

- Willing to do on-calls / Overtime / Night shifts, if highly needed
