- We are far more than a worldwide leader We are more than 240 000 women and men who share something unique br Each and every day we host the world We care for millions of people We are all moved by curiosity We love blending cultures We are proud of our differences br Yes we lead the way But we want to go further with audacity with imagination with passion br raffles the palm dubai br Raffles the Palm Dubai is on the western crescent of Palm Jumeirah the world s largest manmade island and archipelago br This luxurious five-star hotel with 391 spacious rooms suites and villas is embellished with hand-crafted Italian touches and offset by carefully selected amenities to complete the atmosphere of elegance Guests can enjoy panoramic views a private beach state of the art entertainment and recreational facilities including specialist boutiques a VIP movie theatre signature and private restaurants complemented by exquisite banqueting and conference spaces br When visiting Raffles guests will discover the individual personality and story offered by the hotel At the essence of every Raffles is the delivery of thoughtful personal and discreet service to well-travelled guests br Raffles Hotels amp Resorts is an award-winning luxury international hotel company with a history dating back to 1887 with the opening of Raffles Hotel Singapore The portfolio currently comprises eleven luxurious properties from secluded resorts to city hotels in key locations around the world br The Position br To maintain all refrigeration Heating Ventilation amp Air-conditioning equipment and installations in good working condition in all areas of the hotel by carrying out necessary repairs and preventive maintenance Ensure all stocks and spares are well maintained and ordered Carry out all maintenance works as directed by the Director of Engineering br KEY ROLES amp RESPONSIBILITIES br Responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following - br Reports to the Duty Engineer Supervisor regarding daily work progress and work order completion br Attains all A C complaint reports on daily basis Guest room trouble is given priority br Works closely with Duty Engineer Supervisor and peers to carry out preventive maintenance and annual maintenance program br Follows all safety rules and regulations in job departmental procedures and instructions br Carries out all other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor br OTHER br These includes but are not limited to the following - br Able to read Building services Air-conditioning Refrigeration and Electrical drawings br Able to fault find and repair air-conditioning and building control systems Good electrical knowledge br Knowledge of BMS systems br Experience of reciprocating Chillers and Air handling plant and cold rooms br Familiar with planned Preventive Maintenance and Safety programmes br Flexible and team player able to work on own initiative br Good understanding of water treatment techniques and able to handle chemicals br Makes periodic inspection tours to check all refrigeration equipment functioning properly br
- Carries out guest room maintenance according to schedule programme br Works closely with electrician to carry out electrical work when required including functions and parties br Daily refrigeration log sheet to be filled and temperature to be recorded br Works closely with peers to assist in their job when requested by supervisor br Keeps all necessary tools in good working condition keep their working place neat and clean br Understand the Raffles Brand and operating standards br Participate and assist in other projects as required br Ensure that all HVAC stocks are ordered and that the stores are well managed and maintained br PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES br Good all round practical trade skills inclusive fabrication installation and maintenance
