Job Description: Head of Vocational and Training Center UAE
Position Overview:
The Head of Vocational and Training Center is responsible for leading the strategic direction operations and growth of the training center. The role focuses on curriculum development accreditation business development and ensuring highquality vocational education and skills training programs that align with industry needs and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Develop and implement the overall strategy and vision for the vocational training center.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory bodies such as KHDA ACTVET or other relevant authorities.
- Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth of training programs and student support services.
- Manage budgets resource allocation and financial performance of the center.
Program Development & Accreditation
- Design update and enhance vocational training programs based on market demand and emerging trends.
- Ensure courses meet accreditation and certification standards from relevant educational authorities.
- Develop partnerships with industry experts to enhance practical training opportunities.
- Introduce innovative teaching methodologies including elearning and blended learning models.
Business Development & Industry Partnerships
- Identify and develop new business opportunities partnerships and collaborations with industry stakeholders.
- Engage with corporate clients government bodies and educational institutions to expand training offerings.
- Promote the centers programs through marketing outreach and student recruitment strategies.
People Management & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of trainers administrative staff and program coordinators.
- Ensure faculty development through continuous training and professional development programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students and staff.
Quality Assurance & Student Success
- Implement quality assurance frameworks to maintain high standards in training delivery and assessment.
- Monitor student performance feedback and career outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish career guidance and job placement support services for graduates.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Education Business Administration or a relevant field.
- 7 years of experience in vocational education training management or a related sector.
- Proven leadership experience in managing training programs and educational institutions.
- Strong understanding of UAE regulatory and accreditation requirements for vocational training.
- Experience in business development and stakeholder engagement.
