We are seeking a dynamic and organized Events & Media Coordinator to plan and execute school events manage social media and oversee newsletters and other communications. This role is ideal for a creative and detailoriented individual who can enhance our school s engagement with students parents and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Plan coordinate and execute school events including fundraisers open houses student activities and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with faculty staff and parent organizations to ensure successful event .
- Manage event logistics such as venue setup catering guest lists and volunteer coordination.
- Develop event marketing materials and communication plans.
Social Media & Digital Communication:
- Manage and grow the school s social media presence across platforms (Facebook Instagram Twitter etc..
- Create engaging content including photos videos and updates to highlight school activities and achievements.
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and interaction.
Newsletters & School Communications:
- Design and distribute regular school newsletters to keep parents and the community informed.
- Write edit and manage content for email campaigns website updates and press releases.
- Ensure all communications align with the school s values branding and mission.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations Event Management or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in event planning social media management or school communications.
- Strong writing editing and graphic design skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms email marketing tools and basic design software (e.g. Canva Adobe Suite).
- Ability to multitask work independently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for education and community engagement.
