Carpenter

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with 23 years of experience to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood plywood and wallboard using hand tools and power tools. The role requires attention to detail a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and read blueprints drawings and sketches to understand project requirements.
  

• Measure cut shape and assemble wood plastic and other materials.
  

• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames floorings and trim.
  

• Repair and replace damaged wood or other materials.
  

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within designated timelines.
  

• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure projects are completed successfully.
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with 23 years of relevant work experience in the UAE.
  

• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  

• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  

• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
  

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  

• Technical training or apprenticeship in carpentry is preferred.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  

• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather.
  

• Manual dexterity and handeye coordination.
