The ELV Engineer is responsible for the design installation testing and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in construction projects. This includes overseeing structured cabling CCTV access control public address fire alarm BMS and other lowvoltage systems. The role requires close coordination with clients consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications safety standards and industry regulations.
- Design & Engineering:
- Develop ELV system designs specifications and layouts based on project requirements.
- Review and approve ELVrelated drawings schematics and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Ensure designs comply with international and local codes standards and client specifications.
- Assist in preparing technical submittals and material approvals.
- Project Execution & Coordination:
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of ELV systems onsite.
- Coordinate with the consultant subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure proper integration of ELV systems with other MEP and civil works.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper execution of work.
- Testing Commissioning & Handover:
- Oversee testing commissioning and troubleshooting of ELV systems.
- Ensure all systems meet project specifications functionality requirements and client expectations.
- Prepare and review test reports inspection reports and handover documentation.
- Provide training and support to endusers and maintenance teams as required.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all ELV works are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay updated with relevant ELV codes standards and emerging technologies.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Telecommunications or a related field.
- At least 58 years in ELV systems within largescale construction projects preferably in Tier 1 companies.
- Certifications (preferred): BICSI KNX Cisco Avaya or other relevant ELV certifications.
- Expertise in ELV systems such as CCTV access control fire alarms BMS structured cabling and networking.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Revit (preferred) MS Office and ELV design tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication for stakeholder coordination.
- Good English communication skills
- Candidate must be readily available.
