The purpose of the role is to deal with the inspection, diagnosing and repair of vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools to identify the source of problems and repair vehicles using Fix it Right in order to improve customer retention in compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Al-Futtaim standards, deliver the revenue budgets and impart technical knowledge to others such as new joiners, apprentices, and o is responsible for the entire customer journey in the workshop from receiving the service booking call, to booking an appointment, receiving the car, repairing the car, and the handover and invoicing to the customer for Volvo in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
What you will do:
Responsible for diagnosis, general repair, and periodic maintenance with advanced general repair (AGR) and accessories fitment as per repair manual in order to achieve productivity, utilization and set sold hours target..
Create electronic warranty approval request in Dealer Management System (SAP).
Start to end interactions with the customers during the entire customer journey, from the time of receiving the booking to the handover of the car and invoice.
Proper usage of special servicetools and general tools inventory.
Responsible for delivery of the vehicle on promise delivery time or customer demand.
Daily interactions with Andons and the Aftersales Manager to assist in developing technical skills in the team.
Keep abreast of all the latest developments in automotive manufacturing and technical advancements.
Thorough knowledge of parts and components installation.
Well versed on (Oiriginal Equipment Manufacturer) OEM and Distributor standards.
Ability to write technical reports on advanced general repair (AGR) cases after performing diagnosing.
Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
Capability to follow the system of quality control inspection to prevent or correct faulty workmanship which falls below the standard.
Contributes to the success of the business by staying focused on own performance, sharing knowledge, expertise and resources with others.
Understands and works within protocol where necessary, and understands and performs to the requirements of Volvo.

About the Team:
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and managing a team and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
What equips you for the role:
Bachelor or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
IMI LV Master Technician (L3-4) or equivalent.
High Level Brand Certification Eg: Diagnostic Master, Gold, L3 etc.
4-6 years as Light Vehicle Technician – of which at least 2 years as a Diagnostic Technician and some experience as Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicles.
Technical skills, customer relationship management skills and user skills in tools and equipment.
