Job Description
Job Description: UAT Tester for payments application
Position: UAT Tester
Remote offshore India
Experience: Minimum 5 years overall 2 years relevant
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test cases test plans and test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Banking Platform applications based on BRD
- Conduct thorough endtoend testing of SWIFT payments and RTGS payments functionalities
- Identify and log defect while testing timely followup on the defect closure
- Collaborate with business analysts developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
- Execute UAT tests document test results track defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Utilize previous banking industry testing experience to ensure the functional and operational efficiency of the systems.
- Provide expertise in testing SWIFT payment workflows transaction processing. Sound knowledge of MT103 and MT202
- Validate the functionality of the applications data integrity and user experience to ensure highquality software delivery.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of UAT methodologies techniques and best practices in a banking environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in any field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing with a focus on designing test cases conducting UAT and regression testing.
- Sound knowledge and previous experience with SWIFT payments testing in banking environments.
- Proficiency in testing payment preferably with experience at financial institutions.
- Ability to perform endtoend testing identify defects and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Experience on ISO implementation will be an added advantage
Mandatory Payments knowledge MT103 MT202 Testing experience ISO20022 Performing UAT end to end
