Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Assistant Marketing Manager to support the marketing efforts for our Automotive Division. The role focuses on driving brand visibility, aligning with principal requirements, and executing marketing strategies that promote our products, services, and overall brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with the Brand Sales Manager and Automotive Director to enhance brand visibility for the Automotive Division.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with the Company & principal’s guidelines and expectations, managing compliance and communication with brand principals.
  • Plan and execute campaigns across print, and in-person events, targeting both sales growth and brand-building objectives.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotions, and events to support both pre-sales and after-sales activities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to create and execute lead-generation strategies that convert into sales opportunities.
  • Develop content for social media, online platforms, and other marketing materials to promote the brand’s products and services.
  • Manage relationships with group marketing department, vendors, and other external partners to ensure effective execution of marketing plans.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data on competitors, market trends, and customer behavior to inform marketing decisions.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on key performance metrics.
  • Support the promotion of after-sales services, ensuring that the brand experience extends beyond the initial purchase.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities to enhance the brand’s presence in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing,
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the automotive sector or a similar industry.
  • Experience with managing automotive brand marketing in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, campaign management, and brand promotion strategies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

1. Marketing Knowledge

  • Campaign Development: Understanding the process of creating and executing marketing campaigns, from planning to execution.
  • Branding: Ability to maintain and promote a consistent brand image across all marketing channels.
  • Market Research: Knowledge of how to conduct and interpret market research to understand customer needs and preferences.

2. Analytical Skills

  • Data Interpretation: Ability to analyze marketing performance data, including metrics from digital campaigns, social media, and other marketing activities.
  • ROI Measurement: Evaluating the success of marketing campaigns by analyzing return on investment (ROI) and making recommendations for improvement.

3. Communication Skills

  • Writing and Content Creation: Strong writing abilities to create promotional materials, blog posts, social media content, and email campaigns.
  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable creating presentations and reports for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments (sales, creative, product, etc.) to ensure a cohesive approach to marketing efforts.

4. Project Management

  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordination: Ensuring marketing activities are carried out on schedule and within the allocated budget.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying issues that arise during the execution of marketing campaigns and finding solutions.

5. Digital Marketing Skills

  • Social Media Marketing: Familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to create engaging content and manage paid advertising campaigns.
  • SEO and SEM: Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to increase online visibility.
  • Email Marketing: Experience in creating and managing email campaigns using platforms like MailChimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot.

6. Creative Thinking

  • Campaign Innovation: Thinking creatively to come up with unique marketing strategies that stand out in the market.
  • Design Collaboration: Working with designers to create visuals, advertisements, and marketing collateral that aligns with the brand.
