Roles and responsibilities
Property supervisors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of rental properties. Responsible to ensure that tenants have a safe and healthy living environment, and they resolve any issues that may arise during their tenancy.
Property Supervisor works with real estate professionals to ensure that all aspects of the property are well maintained. This includes everything from ensuring that the building is structurally sound.
Job Accountabilities
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance activities to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Investigating any accidents or dangerous conditions on the property in order to determine the cause and prevent future incidents
- Ensure to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
- Conducting regular inspections of common areas and properties to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Follow regular inspection schedules for equipment such as elevators, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors to comply with local fire and building codes.
- Creating detailed reports of building / showrooms / warehouses maintenance issues that need to be addressed by maintenance staff.
- Coordinating with contractors to schedule repairs or renovations that require outside services.
- Monitoring the condition of the property to identify potential problems before they escalate into major issues such as equipment failure or pest infestations
- Ensuring all the authority requirements are met across all properties and coordinate with relevant service providers for any such renewals.

Qualifications & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
Experience
Minimum 5-6 years in similar Supervisory position under Facilities Management environment.
