Job Description

Ubisoft Abu Dhabi is seeking a Gameplay Programmer Intern to join our programming team on an exciting mobile project for 6 months. The Gameplay Programmer Intern will contribute and learn programming tasks within the game development process within a dynamic professional collaborative and creative team. 

What youll do: 

  • Support teams in developing simple and complex gameplay systems.
  • Complete your gameplay functions based on the plan requirements and schedule approved by management. 
  • Capable of informing management when tasks are falling behind schedule and proposing solutions. 
  • Communicate the progress of your work to your peers customers and leads. 
  • Correct defects discovered by QC or your customers in a timely fashion. 

Qualifications :

  • Knowledgeof C#or C programminglanguage 
  • Handson experience with Unity3D engine 
  • Haveagoodunderstandingofmathematicsphysicsand gameplaymechanics 
  • Passion for creating wellstructured flexible code
  • Should be fluent in English and have good communication skills to interact with various teams. 
  • A passion for creating or playing games and being a team player. 

Other requirements: 

  • A Bachelors degree preferably in technology or similar 
  • Located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
