Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with expertise in fitout projects to oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of our clients interior installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining interior fitout elements ensuring longevity and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of interior fitout installations including furniture fixtures and equipment ensuring they are in optimal condition.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of interior components.
- Diagnose issues related to fitout installations and perform necessary repairs promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of work and safety.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and materials required for maintenance activities ensuring availability when needed.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies maintaining a safe working environment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities including reports on equipment status repairs performed and preventive measures taken.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering specifically within the interior fitout industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior fitout processes materials and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
