Job Description
We are seeking a professional and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Light Vehicle Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers or goods within the city and surrounding areas.
- Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws safety regulations and company policies
- Plan and optimize routes using GPS and navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate logs of trips mileage and any incidents or delays
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Report any vehicle issues accidents or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Keep the vehicle clean and wellmaintained both interior and exterior
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns to ensure safe driving
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license for the appropriate vehicle class
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Customer serviceoriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
- Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
- Defensive driving certification is preferred
- Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area and its road network is highly desirable
