Job Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies procedures and controls to protect company assets.
- Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing to evaluate system security.
- Investigate security incidents perform forensic analysis and recommend remediation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (ISO 27001 PCIDSS NIST etc.).
- Develop and manage incident response plans for cybersecurity threats.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure applications networks and cloud environments.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and trends in the Fintech industry.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to prevent phishing and social engineering attacks.
- Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies for security audits and compliance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of firewalls IDS/IPS SIEM tools and endpoint security solutions.
- Handson experience with cloud security (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Knowledge of encryption authentication protocols and data protection techniques.
- Experience with SOC operations threat intelligence and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH or Security are highly preferred.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to analyze complex security issues.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple security incidents.
