Role Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee the endtoend supply chain operations ensuring efficient management of inventory finished goods and logistics. This role involves coordinating with the production and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet customer orders. The coordinator will also be responsible for production planning ensuring that production schedules align with supply and demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of raw materials.

Finished Goods Management

  • Track and manage finished goods inventory to effectively meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with the production team to forecast finished goods requirements.
  • Ensure proper labelling storage and handling of finished goods to maintain quality standards.
  • Act as the primary contact point for the sales team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of goods to customers.
  • Liaise with drivers and customers to facilitate smooth transportation and distribution.
  • Monitor shipping schedules address delays and manage customer inquiries regarding deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments invoices and other transportation documentation.

Team Management

  • Lead and manage the production and logistics teams providing guidance and support to drive operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training programs to build team capabilities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster collaboration between production and logistics teams to achieve organizational goals.

Production Planning

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes align with demand forecasts.
  • Adjust production plans as necessary to meet changes in customer demand or supply chain disruptions.
  • Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensure that production capacities align with material availability.

Process Improvement

  • Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement costsaving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor industry trends and adopt best practices to enhance supply chain performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management logistics production processes and production planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in supply chain software and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
