Roles and responsibilities
This role requires strong planning skills, resource allocation, and cost loading and commitment to teamwork. You will also be responsible for supporting project managers in large-scale projects and helping to maintain project schedules, quality deliverables, and client satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the timely and successful completion of complex maritime projects.
Your new role, what's involved?
- Gather data for schedule baseline development and maintenance.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and delivery teams to create a WBS and baseline schedules in accordance with projects goal for maritime designs during bid or delivery stages.
- Conduct schedule analysis of project schedule interdependencies, variances, floats, constraints, risks, critical and longest paths.
- Prepare schedule narratives and record basis of schedule and schedule risks.
- Perform delay analysis.
- Process approved schedule variations, Extension of Time and scope changes.
- Cost loading and resource loading of schedules in line with program/projects’ needs and client requirements.
- Setup progress measurement system, produce S-Curves, and histograms
- Prepare monthly and weekly progress reports.
- Produce look ahead schedules.
- Support project leaders in providing monthly forecasts of resources and budgets such as Estimate to Completion (ETC), Estimate at Completion (EAC).
- Track and flag budget changes and variance at completion.
- Track and follow up on invoicing and payments.
- Participate in progress meetings as needed.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, structural engineering coastal engineering or a related field.
- Charted or working toward chartership with the ICE or similar governing body advantageous.
- 5 years’ experience in maritime engineering and project management. UAE and KSA experience advantageous.
- Good confident communication, with good writing and presentation skills and Strong client facing skillswith the ability to manage project stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
