Senior Accountant
Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates
Salary: AED 10000 AED 12000 per month
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a friendly selfdriven and confident individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. This role demands expertise in financial management attention to detail and the ability to support a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial accounting processes including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports such as balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and monitor budgets ensuring cost efficiency and timely execution.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain a record of all project finances preparing for internal/external audits and tax submissions.
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Conduct cost analysis identifying areas for potential savings without compromising quality.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors suppliers and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on local regulations and financial compliance standards implementing best practices in accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and confident demeanour.
- Selfmotivated proactive and adaptable in a fastpaced environment.
- Positive individual who complements the workplace culture and encourages collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience in the construction architectural or related industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and practices.
