Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Station Project Road Map and report progress to site leader
  • Ensuring timely closure of Peak Readiness Playbook and provide inputs to Network Control Manager
  • Thinking analytically about project management with attention to detail, the ability to influence others and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Being obsessed by metrics and diving deep to find root causes quickly, to drive improvements
  • Finds practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality
  • Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills to influence business and technical audiences
  • Provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes and gather feedback
  • Map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows, design solutions.
  • Continuously utilize software and hardware tools to ensure normal day to day operations. Ensure associates have proper tools to perform the job and coordinate repair or replacement when needed.
  • Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with Program Management
  • Planning and Strategy Development:

    • Develop change management strategies that align with organizational goals and the specific objectives of the change initiative.
    • Create detailed change management plans that include communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
    • Set clear objectives and milestones to guide the change process and ensure that it stays on track.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Identify key stakeholders and assess the impact of the change on various groups within the organization.
    • Develop stakeholder engagement plans to ensure that all relevant parties are informed, consulted, and involved in the change process.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and keep them engaged throughout the change journey.
  • Communication and Messaging:

    • Develop a communication plan to keep employees and stakeholders informed about the change, its benefits, and how it will affect them.
    • Communicate the vision for the change clearly, ensuring that employees understand why the change is happening and how it will benefit the organization.
    • Provide regular updates and feedback on the status of the change initiative, including addressing any emerging issues or challenges.
  • Training and Support:

    • Design and implement training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully navigate the change.
    • Ensure that employees have access to resources, support, and guidance during the transition.
    • Develop ongoing support mechanisms to reinforce learning and help employees adapt to the new way of working.

Desired candidate profile

1. Change Management Methodologies

  • In-depth knowledge of change management frameworks such as ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model, Lewin's Change Management Model, and Prosci Change Management.
  • Ability to apply these methodologies effectively in a variety of organizational contexts, ensuring that the change process is structured and well-organized.

2. Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the vision, objectives, and benefits of the change.
  • Ability to tailor communication for different audiences, from executives to front-line employees, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Proficiency in developing communication plans and materials, such as newsletters, presentations, and email updates.

3. Leadership and Influence

  • Strong leadership skills to guide, motivate, and inspire teams throughout the change process.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, middle management, and front-line employees.
  • Capability to build trust and credibility by acting as a positive change agent within the organization.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Expertise in identifying, mapping, and engaging stakeholders who will be impacted by the change.
  • Ability to understand stakeholders’ concerns and objections and address them effectively to foster buy-in and commitment to the change.
  • Experience in creating and executing stakeholder engagement plans to ensure ongoing support throughout the change process.

5. Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify potential barriers to change and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Ability to handle conflicts and resistance to change, providing solutions to mitigate issues and ensure the smooth implementation of change.
  • Skilled in navigating complex organizational dynamics and resolving issues that may arise during the change process.

6. Project Management Skills

  • Experience managing change projects, including developing timelines, setting milestones, and tracking progress.
  • Ability to manage resources and coordinate efforts across different teams to ensure that change initiatives are implemented on time and within scope.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies to ensure efficient execution of change plans.

7. Training and Development

  • Ability to design and deliver training programs that help employees develop the skills needed to adapt to new systems, processes, or ways of working.
  • Knowledge of learning techniques and adult education principles to create effective training solutions.
  • Experience in creating training materials, organizing workshops, and offering ongoing support to employees.
