Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact between business teams and the Global Real Estate Organization. Representing the End-to-End life cycle of sourcing, securing, designing, funding, operating and exiting corporate Real Estate locations.
  • Manage teams of real estate service providers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective facilities services to building occupants. Provide management, direction, monitoring and evaluation of performance and delivery against the agreed specification. Report, escalate and rectify non-performance.
  • Maximize the potential of the Real Estate portfolio while improving space utilization, ensuring assets are kept in good order and business needs are met.
  • Oversee new building openings, expansions and significant projects working together with the EMEA capital projects team and vendors to meet project scope, managing communication with occupants, country leaders and project team stakeholders.
  • Work with the EMEA Leasing and Transaction Specialist on decommission strategies throughout the business and execute for responsible countries.
  • Work with the EMEA Finance and FM Managers to prepare annual budgets, manage and report on monthly operating expense for the region versus budget, including input into forecasts.
  • Work with the EMEA Stakeholders and Procurement team to ensure key suppliers remain competitive whilst providing a quality service, and new services are procured using a robust sourcing framework.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Facilities; or equivalent in professional experience
  • Significant experience in a facilities and real estate environment
  • English fluency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Financial or Accounting background and qualifications
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system experience
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to write concisely and effectively
  • Arabic fluency would be advantageous

. Investment Knowledge and Expertise

  • Market Analysis: Expertise in analyzing financial markets, economic conditions, and trends.
  • Asset Allocation: Ability to allocate assets in a way that optimizes returns while managing risk based on the client’s objectives.
  • Security Selection: Understanding of various investment vehicles like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, and alternative investments.

2. Risk Management

  • Strong ability to assess, manage, and mitigate risks in investment portfolios.
  • Understanding of risk metrics (e.g., standard deviation, Sharpe ratio, beta) to measure portfolio performance and risk.

3. Analytical and Quantitative Skills

  • Ability to conduct financial analysis, including valuation techniques, financial modeling, and performance attribution.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, or financial modeling platforms).

4. Financial Modeling

  • Experience building and interpreting financial models to forecast the potential return and risk of various investments.
  • Knowledge of valuation models (e.g., discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis) for assessing assets.

5. Communication Skills

  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills to present portfolio performance, updates, and recommendations.

6. Decision-Making and Problem-Solving

  • Quick decision-making skills based on market conditions, client preferences, and economic data.
  • Ability to make sound judgments in uncertain or volatile market conditions.

7. Client Relationship Management

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and communicate portfolio performance.
  • Ability to manage client expectations while ensuring the portfolio meets their financial goals.

8. Attention to Detail

  • Monitoring market conditions, portfolio performance, and transactions with great precision to ensure accuracy.
  • Thorough understanding of investment processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

9. Time Management

  • Effective at managing multiple portfolios or clients, ensuring timely updates, decisions, and reports.
  • Balancing day-to-day management tasks with long-term strategic planning.
