Job Description
Job Description: Assistant Accounts Manager
Location:Dubai
Salary: AED 11000
Experience: 10 years
Gender: Male
Nationality: Indian
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee daytoday accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the Accounts Manager in managing financial processes and systems.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Support the Accounts Manager in preparing financial summaries for senior management.
- Tax and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with UAE taxation laws including VAT filings and audits.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
- Accounts Reconciliation:
- Oversee bank reconciliations intercompany transactions and ledger management.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable for accuracy and efficiency.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the accounting team.
- Audit Preparation:
- Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
Key Requirements:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Experience: 10 years in accounting or finance roles with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of international accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problemsolving and leadership skills.
Preferences:
- Candidates with a stable career progression and demonstrated expertise in financial strategy.
- Prior experience in a midtolarge organization is an advantage.
