Roles and responsibilities
- Maintain inventory with minimum and maximum stock level.
- Maintain all relevant records such holding stock, daily requisition, and issue vouchers.
- Monthly random inventory verification and conduct annual audit.
- Submit reports of non-moving / fast- moving parts.
- Orders, receive, and stores auto spare parts used in the repair/maintenance of company fleet.
- Maintain parts properly in storage status, keeps stock room clean orderly.
- Coordinate / report the part request and delivery dates with all concerns.
- Ensure Adequate record keeping and manage all documentations to confirm proper stock level and maintain inventory control.
- Maintain the job cards with mechanics for spare parts issuing and records.

1. Inventory Management
- Stock Control: Ability to monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is neither overstocked nor understocked.
- Stock Replenishment: Knowledge of inventory replenishment methods, including automated stock tracking and reorder point systems.
- Inventory Systems: Proficiency in inventory management software, such as SAP, Oracle, or other warehouse management systems (WMS).
2. Organizational Skills
- Efficient Storage Practices: Ability to organize goods in an efficient, safe, and easily accessible manner.
- Space Management: Ensuring that storage areas are optimized to maximize space while maintaining safe working conditions.
- Order Fulfillment: Organizing and fulfilling orders for internal departments or customers in a timely manner.
3. Attention to Detail
- Record Keeping: Accurate logging of goods received, stored, and dispatched, as well as handling inventory discrepancies.
- Product Inspection: Checking products for quality and damage upon receipt and before shipping.
- Stock Audits: Conducting regular stock audits to verify physical inventory against recorded stock levels.
4. Communication and Collaboration
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and production, to ensure adequate stock is available.
- Vendor Relations: Coordinating with suppliers for deliveries, returns, and resolving discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service when internal teams request goods or have questions about stock.
5. Safety and Compliance
- Health and Safety Standards: Ensuring that the warehouse or storage area meets safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials if applicable.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with industry regulations regarding inventory control, product storage, and shipping, such as FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) methods.
- Security Measures: Implementing security protocols to prevent theft or loss of goods.
