Roles and responsibilities
1. Expertise in Spa Treatments
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in various therapeutic and beauty treatments, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, hot stone massage, facials, body wraps, and scrubs.
- Knowledge of different massage techniques and modalities, with the ability to tailor treatments to the needs of each individual client.
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology to apply techniques safely and effectively.

2. Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to create a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their spa experience.
- Active listening skills to understand clients’ needs, preferences, and any areas of tension or discomfort.
- Maintaining a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor, especially during busy times or when dealing with demanding clients.

3. Knowledge of Products and Equipment
- Familiarity with spa products, such as skincare lines, essential oils, massage oils, lotions, and other beauty products.
- Understanding how to use spa equipment, such as hot stone sets, steamers, and facial machines, ensuring proper sanitation and safety procedures.

4. Attention to Detail
- Ensuring that treatments are customized to the client’s preferences and needs, paying attention to specific concerns like muscle tension, skin sensitivity, or stress levels.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, both in the treatment room and in the use of equipment and products.

- Maintaining a high level of professionalism, respecting client privacy and confidentiality, especially when discussing personal health concerns or issues.
- Ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed, even in vulnerable situations such as disrobing for treatments.

- Effective verbal communication with clients to explain treatment options, answer questions, and provide aftercare advice.
- Ability to explain the benefits of various treatments and provide guidance on skincare or wellness routines.

7. Physical Stamina and Strength
- The ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks, such as massaging, kneading, or applying pressure, often for extended durations.
- Maintaining good physical health to prevent strain or injury, as the work can be physically taxing.

- Managing a busy schedule, especially during peak spa times, while maintaining a calm and efficient approach to each treatment.
- Adapting to changes in scheduling or client needs, ensuring that all treatments are delivered on time.
Desired candidate profile
- To create the first positive impression to the guests by greeting them in a warm welcoming manner-by name addressed.
- To contribute to the high level of services in accordance with the company’s standard as prescribed in Standard Operations Manual.
- To perform quality massage therapies and body treatments as prescribed in Standard Training Manual.
- To ensure that all equipment associated with service function at all time.
- To be able to answer all questions related to services and identify the benefit or advantage of treatments required to the guests.
- To assist with demonstrations and events as required.
- To participate in a new training and refreshing program as required.
- To update the Therapist Log Book.
- To complete all assignments stated by deadlines with the spa manager or supervisor’s guidelines.
- To respond to the change as indicated by the company.
Qualifications
- Certificate in massage
- Qualified female candidate with the ability to conduct yoga sessions is preferred
- Previous spa experience
- Able to communicate in English, Arabic
- Well groomed and high standard of personal hygiene
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
