Job Description

Position Summary:


Responsible for the direction and performance of the overall Project PMC team including all design procurement and construction Services to ensure the Services are performed in conformance with the project objectives and requirements. Leads the Project Managers Construction Managers Commissioning Manager and the Procurement/Contracts Manager in effectively managing the Project. Promote and maintain liaison with Companys representative(s). Responsible for the implementation of an effective safety and security program. Has overall responsibility for Project HSE Cost Schedule and Quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Define the Project objectives and philosophy as well as strategy program and procedures to achieve the Project objectives
Implement and maintain an effective Project safety and security program
Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of the Project Execution Plan
Implement and maintain effective management planning and cost control systems
Advise Company of developments that may affect Project costs or schedules
Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the Project. Maintain a risk register and effective mitigation plans for potential risks to the successful completion of the Project.
Implement and manage change management processes with both the Company and the Contractors
Implement and maintain an effective quality assurance process
Be knowledgeable of PMC Agreement terms and conditions and terms and conditions of all Contracts
Administer the Contracts with the Contractors for the maximum benefit of Company
Review and approve all Personnel assignments to the Project
Manage subordinates through goal setting counseling and standards of performance
Establish and maintain communications to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
Conduct regular Project reviews with Project staff and Company
Provide regular Project progress reports to Company


Qualifications :

Proficient in managing and directing people communications (both written and verbal) negotiation skills and computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
B.Sc. in any Engineering discipline or equivalent College degree or equivalent experience
15 to 20 years Engineering and Construction experience
8 to 10 years experience in Project Management
Recognized industry experience and expertise
Demonstrated competency in understanding of the engineering procurement and construction processes

From Project Award through to the handover from Commissioning to Operations & Maintenance
