- Electrical Systems: Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and electrical distribution.
- Instrumentation: Proficiency in monitoring and managing control systems like SCADA or DCS.
- Mechanical Systems: Familiarity with pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers.
2. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting
- Fault Diagnosis: Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, or control system issues.
- Critical Thinking: Assessing situations quickly to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
3. Safety Awareness
- Hazard Identification: Recognizing and mitigating risks associated with power station operations.
- Compliance: Adhering to OSHA regulations and environmental standards.
- Emergency Response: Handling system failures, fires, or other critical incidents effectively.

- Monitoring Systems: Constantly observing gauges, meters, and alarms to ensure optimal performance.
