Roles and responsibilities

Project Management Expertise

• Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
• Ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools).
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Technical and Engineering Knowledge

• Deep understanding of engineering principles across multiple disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, software) and how they interact within a project.
• Experience with technical design reviews, engineering change management, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ISO, IEC, local standards).
• Expertise in systems integration, including the challenges and solutions involved in integrating different technologies and engineering disciplines.

Interface Management and Integration

• Strong skills in interface management, ensuring smooth coordination between various engineering teams and contractors.
• Ability to resolve complex technical and logistical challenges that arise during project execution, particularly those involving the interaction between different systems or subsystems.
• Experience in defining and managing clear roles and responsibilities for different stakeholders in interface-heavy projects.

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify risks, challenges, and opportunities across the project.
• Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, particularly when faced with technical issues, delays, or budget constraints.

Communication and Negotiation

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients, team members, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Negotiation skills to resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and ensure that all parties are aligned on project deliverables and timelines.

Risk and Quality Management

• Ability to identify and assess project risks early on, implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong focus on quality control and ensuring that all project outputs meet required standards and specifications.
• Experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure consistent project delivery.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

• Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop junior engineers and team members.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, ensuring effective teamwork across various disciplines.

Desired candidate profile

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree Engineering in any technical Discipline.
• Minimum Overall 15+ years of oil & gas experience.
• Experience in Feasibility, Concept, FEED, Design, Project Engineering experience.
• Must have previous experience working in offshore projects.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore projects
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in PMC projects
• Knowledgeable and experienced in HSE issues.
• Proficiency in MS Office & MS Project.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  

Preferred

• Eligible for Certified Practicing Project Practitioner (PMP) certification or equivalent
  

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and coordinate all external and internal technical interface agreements (IA) and ensure that a comprehensive, multi-functional review of all technical Interface agreement requests, responses, to and from the interface parties, meets requirements and schedule.
• present the system to the project team and give clear guidance on its operation, intent, and importance.
• Overall understanding of the project schedule, project plan and the importance of timely delivery of project deliverables.
